Social Worker for the 18 to 24 Unit

Do you want to support young adults in a crucial phase of their lives? We are currently looking for a social worker for our 18 to 24 unit – a workplace where we combine investigative work with a genuine commitment to the development of young adults.

About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a social worker, you will work with investigations and follow-ups of interventions according to SoL, LVU, and LVM. You will meet young adults with complex needs stemming from psychosocial problems, harmful use and addiction, as well as criminality. We also work with individuals experiencing acute homelessness and those in need of protection. Your tasks will include assessing eligibility for assistance, planning together with the young person, and collaborating with internal and external actors to create the best possible conditions for change. The work is independent but never lonely – you will receive continuous support from colleagues and supervisors. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role and make a real difference for the individuals we meet. We participate in the professional journey concerning harmful use and addiction. Documentation is done in Lifecare.

We Are Looking For You

• You have a degree in social work.
• You have the ability to work in a structured and independent manner, as well as prioritize in a day with varying and sometimes urgent cases.
• Experience in public authority work is an advantage.
• Training in MI, ASI, or UngDOK is an advantage, as is familiarity with documenting in Lifecare, which will help you settle into the work.

We are looking for a colleague who meets young adults with respect and attentiveness and has good analytical skills.

The 18 to 24 unit works to provide young adults with the support they need to live an independent life based on their own circumstances. We have gathered various competencies focusing on assistance investigations, support and treatment interventions, financial support, and labor market issues. Through a holistic approach and close collaboration, we strive to provide the right support at the right time. You will become part of a unit that values collaboration, knowledge exchange, and an open work climate. We offer a thorough introduction and continuous support so that you can focus on your mission. Right now, we are looking for a new colleague for the investigation team of the 18 to 24 unit, which consists of six social workers.
